假定英语课上老师要求同桌之间交换修改作文，请你修改你同桌写的以下作文。下面短文中有 10 处语言错误。请在有错误的地方增加、删除或修改某个单词。
增加: 在缺词处加一个漏字符号（∧）, 并在其下面写出该加的词。

I respect my father and he always gives me advice and help me to make best decision. He has experienced a lot of thing. After he graduated from college, he worked as a secretary. However, he found the job was bored, so he decided to quit the job and travelled to many places, what helped him broaden his horizon. when he went back home, he found a job he likes. I was so interested in his life experiences that I couldn’t help think what it might be like if I travelled like him. I would made many friends . I want a life like my father. I was a high school student then, from the low-income family. So I have to support my family. My first one job was to clean the tables in a small restaurant.
